1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CodeRoom ("the Platform", accessible at askgenio.in), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not access or use our services.

2. Services & Products Offered

CodeRoom provides fast, privacy-focused peer-to-peer digital utilities:

• Free Ephemeral Transfer: Temporary room-based code and file sharing (up to 25 MB per file), QR mobile bridge, and Gmail dispatch without user accounts or stored records.
• Paid Lobby Access Passes: Room hosts may configure paid lobbies with an entry ticket fee denominated in Indian National Rupees (INR ₹). Participants purchase a temporary access pass to join the host's live session.

3. Pricing & Payment Processing

• All paid room passes are priced strictly in Indian Rupees (INR ₹).
• Payments are securely processed via Cashfree Payment Gateway, supporting UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), debit/credit cards, and NetBanking.
• Platform Fee & Commission: For each paid lobby pass, CodeRoom retains a 10% platform commission fee for gateway handling, bandwidth, and operations. The host is entitled to 90% of the gross ticket fee.
• Host Settlement: When the host closes the room, a settlement claim is dispatched, and the host's 90% share will be credited to their nominated Indian Bank Account or UPI ID within 7 working days.

4. Ephemeral Storage & Data Deletion Policy

CodeRoom is built on zero-retention principles. All chat messages, code snippets, and uploaded files are temporary. Once a host closes a lobby, or when a session reaches the 2-hour inactivity threshold, all files and records stored in the database are permanently purged and cannot be recovered.

5. User Conduct & Prohibited Content

Users agree not to upload, share, or transmit:

• Malicious code, spyware, viruses, or unauthorized executable payloads.
• Unlawful, harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, or copyrighted content without authorization.
• Content that violates Indian Information Technology (IT) laws or payment gateway regulations.

6. Limitation of Liability

CodeRoom provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any lost data resulting from room expiration or intentional host closure.
